Something about me...

My name is Luciana Trappolino, born in Orvieto on 15 February 1964. I got her degree in Economics and Commerce at Sapienza in Rome and I currently live in Lecce (Italy), where I works in a public company.

I have the passion for photography since childhood. At the age of fourteen I receives my first Reflex: this changed my way of observing the world, objects, and people. I became a photographer by vocation, living together with my Reflex for over thirty years.

I have participated in several exhibitions and some of my photos have won competitions. Some of these: Honorable Mentions at the Photography Festival of FIOF 2017 and 2018, finalist at the Miami Street Photography Festival 2018, first prize in the Photo Contest promoted by Amnesty International Italy 2019, and First Prize Winner to FIIPA-FIOF for the category “People” 2019.

Some of my photos have been published on important photographic magazines, one of which is National Geographic.
